I just saw Poor Things in theaters yesterday and its a definite 9/10!
The general message is about a woman who is experiencing life, society, through this naive lens of adventure. This weird alternative take on Frankenstein is really interesting.

Cons:
- Very vulgar in sex scenes and nudity (DO NOT WATCH WITH FAMILY) You will be very uncomfortable
- Some unnecessary scenes just for shock factor or anxiety
- Very abstract and easy to grasp for general audiences
Pros:
- Actually funny in a weird way
- Visually stunning in costume and set design as well as the editing
- Emma Stone duh
- Willem Dafoe duh
- Ramy Youssef duh
- Nice messages about
- poverty,
- capitalism,
- feminism,
- toxic masculinity,
- ownership
- Entertaining duh to bits of suspense and comedy
Overall, I see why Emma Stone won that Golden Globe and is nominated for hella Oscars. I’m rooting for Best Cinematography, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, and Best Costume Design. I really think Poor Things and Oppenheimer are going to sweep the Oscars this year.
