Ignite me is the 3rd official book in the series Shatter Me (the 5th book if you include the novellas)

Juliette finally comes into herself and overcomes the challenges she faced with the world and especially with herself.

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

5/5 obviously!

This book is so good on so many levels. It’s fast paced, has a great coming of age story mixed with a really good dystopian story. If you read Shatter Me and Unravel Me before this one you could lowkey just stop after this one and be content.

If you’re like me though and want more don’t worry. I fully plan on going back and reading the novella (The book is titled Destroy Me – Warner’s POV) that took place in between Shatter Me and Unravel Me and the novella(The book is titled Fracture Me – Aaron’s POV) that takes place between Unravel Me and Ignite Me. (Both books are inside of a wrap up called Unite Me – yeah I know a little confusing.

CAN YOU GUYS BELIEVE THAT THE AUTHOR IS WRITING ANOTHER BOOK FOR THIS SERIES!!!!!

I know I know crazy right! My dumbass is 10 years late to this franchise but its okay because Tahereh Mafi is currently writing the spin off book titled: Watch Me – https://www.today.com/popculture/book…

There still hasn’t been much released about this book but I’m excited either way. Its set to come out in April 2025 so girlies we still have lots of time to catch up on the books and reread them.

Anyways go read Ignite Me! That’s an order from the Supreme Commander of the Reestablishment…lol 😆

Spoilers Below!!!

Can I just start off by saying that Kenji is one of the best characters ever written. I love his personality, his banter but also his backstory and his relationship with Juliette. I can’t wait to read more about him in the future.

Also Warner, woahhhh hello. I finally understand the hype around the whole, “Lift your hips for me, Love” thing. https://youtu.be/WGdOWq836yU?si=d0RpInz-VjEm4wx-&t=76

WHEWW that was something.
Also this youtube video where Lucky Blue Smith says Love to Nara Smith (did something to me because I honestly thought of Warner since all the wattpad girlies were using his face on their fanfics and also because he looks exactly like him)

Also, I imagined Warner having a british accent for the entire time until one of the other characters (Ian or Winston or someone can’t remember right now) was described as having a British accent and then I was like fuck he doesn’t have one – too bad i kept the british accent in my head heheheh 😝

Why is Adam such a bitch???

Now that is the question!

Because he was acting wild in this book, the switch from Unravel me to this is LARGE. The scene when he put Kenji’s hand in Juliette’s I was so angry I wanted to throw the book. Like I understand his jealousy of Warner and his anger towards him specifically (he did try to kill him and was physically abusing him in that military group) but JULIETTE?? She didn’t even confirm a relationship with Warner yet and he’s already mad, he should be grateful that Warner took care of her instead of being so pouty. Like be so fucking for realllll!!!!!

Overall the only qualms I have with this book is how they don’t really do anything until the very end, verses in Unravel Me they had various battles throughout the book. But the drama, the romance, and the banter all made me forget that they only had like 4 locations the whole book, lolll

These are some fancasts that I love: (these include aged casts lol)

For Juliette:
Kristine Froseth, Anya Taylor Joy, Hailee Steinfeld

For Warner:
Lucky Blue Smith, Callum Turner, Tom Blythe

For Adam:

Harry Collet, Felix Mallard

For Kenji:

Sebastian Amoruso, William Gao, Charles Melton

For Castle:

Idris Elba, Lenny Kravitz
